If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join the Housing Leadership Support Team as a Housing Support Officer. We are a small, friendly team that work closely with the Housing Senior Management Team, providing a complete time management, correspondence and administrative support service, including supplying management information for reports and undertaking other specific administrative activities and projects to support the smooth running of the department.
As a Housing Support Officer, you will provide secretarial support to anticipate the needs of the Housing Management Team including producing documentation and reports, some of which may be confidential, minuting meetings and other projects as required. In addition to this, the team as a whole covers various activities including managing the responses to Housing FOIs, Housing Member Enquiries, Housing Area Panels, People Services Complaints and managing the Out of hours Rota.

About the role
Diary management is a key area of the role, arranging and coordinating meetings and appointments with internal and external stakeholders, as well as preparing agendas, taking notes, summarising information and disseminating this information to attendees.
The team are responsible for managing the responses to Housing FOIs, Housing Member Enquiries, Housing Area Panels, People Services Complaints and managing the Out of hours Rota.
The management of these processes within the Service, entails logging information, liaising with other teams for responses, proof reading and replying to Councillors, members, residents as well as internal teams to strict deadlines. Some of the information will be of a confidential and sensitive manner, therefore the postholder should be tactful and diplomatic with their responses and develop a good tone of voice in correspondence.
You will ideally have experience of working in a busy office environment with the ability to prioritise your workload around the demands of the service and strict deadlines.
Previous experience would be great but is not essential. If you have some of the skills above, we will provide training and support for the rest.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
