You will be committed to improving practice through creating and maintaining positive partnership relationships within your operational arena, acting as a ‘critical friend’ and providing constructive advice to improve outcomes for the children and families of Newham.
Your role will require you to use both quantitative and qualitative data to raise practice standards through reviewing and developing practice. You will be an advocate for excellence and be a key role in the continuous development of the Quality Assurance service and in your operational arenas. You will be committed to Newham’s practice model of a restorative approach with systemic practice across all services, and will instil a positive auditing culture in your team that is beneficial to these aims.
We're looking for confident senior practitioners with significant experience of auditing within Quality Assurance. You are full of energy and enthusiasm, taking a creative but pragmatic approach to supporting your team towards improving practice across children’s social care, you work well autonomously and within a team environment and promote cohesive working. You already embrace our people focused values and want to be an active part of our collective ‘Newham Together’ journey. You want to make a difference.
You will have an experience of delivering upon service and practice improvement being an experienced qualified Social Worker with experience of leading and/or managing a team of Social Workers. You have high working standards and have the skills and ability to present and communicate information to inform learning at strategic, operational and individual practitioner level. You are conscious of your own professional development, actively seeking avenues of learning and improvement.
