As the Community Safety Manager, you will work closely with partner agencies to develop and implement the strategy for Harborough District’s Community Safety Partnership. We need a strong manager to ensure the Partnership delivers improved outcomes and effectively promotes the wellbeing and interests of the community. You will also be the expert and lead officer for anti-social behaviour at HDC, ensuring we have the appropriate response to our duties to reduce behaviours which have a negative effect on the local people and environment within the District.
We are looking for a proactive and independent person, who can work on their own initiative, is good at creative problem solving and will proactively anticipate problems and deliver solutions. To be successful in this role, you need to be an excellent communicator, with extensive engagement and liaison experience, with the ability to provide advice and guidance, and build and maintain positive partnership working with a wide range of stakeholders from the Police and Crime Commission to local residents.
