Teacher of Computing

Due to the retirement of a long-serving colleague, we are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Computing for September 2025. You will join a strong and supportive team of experts, who are fun, welcoming and creative. Applications from ECTs and more experienced teachers are warmly welcomed. We will also consider applications for both full or part time working (please make sure you clearly indicate your preference on your application).

The successful candidate will be confident in teaching Computing at KS3 and Computer Science at KS4 and KS5. If some subject knowledge enhancement is required (for example with teaching the KS5 curriculum), we will support this through a personalised programme of CPD, which would be agreed upon appointment. We are a caring school and have taken a range of steps in recent years to support our teachers’ wellbeing and reduce their workload. Our Computing/Business department benefits from modern accommodation, and all teachers have their own classrooms.

At our last OFSTED inspection (November 2021), we were rated as ‘Good’ in all areas and the inspection team noted that:
