The role – People Coordinator
As People Coordinator you will support the People Services Manager and the People Advisor delivering a high-quality service to our organisation. Your proactive approach and keen attention to detail will be essential in helping to manage various people related matters including payroll, employee relations, company policies and procedures, employee benefits, Learning & Development, annual projects for salary review and holiday re-set.
But that’s not all! Origin is embarking on an exciting journey of change, and you’ll play a pivotal role in collating employee data to support the TUPE process.
This is a maternity cover role of up to 12 month fixed term contract.
What you’ll do
You will
- Update employee files and the People Team database (Ciphr) with new starters, leavers, and changes. Track important documents such as probation forms, performance reviews, and DBS checks.
- Support the monthly payroll processes, create payroll variation letters, process payroll data forms, and support payroll manager with queries. Run payroll reports and handle employment references.
- Maintain and administer HR systems, including CIPHR. Produce ad-hoc reports and KPI reports, and act as the main point of contact for HR-related queries.
- Support the People Officer and Advisor with exit interviews, lead benefit programs such as reward and recognition, and manage annual organisational processes like annual leave resets and salary reviews.
- Provide support for HR projects, external audits, and HR/ER meetings. Assist with booking meetings, filing documents, and producing various reports for managers and executives.
What you’ll need
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is working towards a CIPD Level 5 Qualification with proven experience as a HR Administrator
- Has extensive knowledge on the HR software systems like CIPHR and intermediate/advanced Excel skills including pivot tables.
- Has excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise projects and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Is able to handle data confidentiality with a great attention to detail
- Is capable of adapting to a fast-paced environment, working well under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Has Strong problem-solving skills
- Has practical understanding of equal opportunities issues and a dedication to valuing diversity
- Is a team player and able to adapt to any situation that arises within HR
