AAAD5007 - Permanent - 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (split shift) - Grade 5 - £25,584 - £27,269 - Primary Schools – Vine Tree Primary School</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are looking to appoint a dedicated, hardworking and highly motivated Site Manager to contribute to our vibrant, caring, primary school.  The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of site management including a wide range of duties and responsibilities connected with the buildings and grounds of the school. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are looking for a site manager who:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strives to be the best, having high expectations of themselves and of their work.</li>\n<li>Is well organised and demonstrates real commitment to teamwork.</li>\n<li>Is reflective of their own practice and prepared to use their initiative.</li>\n<li>Demonstrates accountability for ensuring they secure high quality support for school improvement.</li>\n<li>Has knowledge of Health, Safety & Welfare requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Duties / Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that buildings and the site are secure, including during out of school hours and take remedial action if required</li>\n<li>Act as the designated key holder for the school premises</li>\n<li>Operate and regularly check systems such as heating, cooling, lighting and security (including CCTV and alarms)</li>\n<li>Undertake minor repairs (i.e. not requiring qualified craftsperson) and maintenance of the buildings and site</li>\n<li>Arrange emergency repairs</li>\n<li>Arrange regular maintenance and safety checks</li>\n<li>Oversee onsite maintenance contractors, checking that work is completed to required standards and within required timescales</li>\n<li>Monitor stock and order supplies</li>\n<li>Undertake general portage duties, including moving furniture and equipment within the school</li>\n<li>Perform duties in line with health and safety and COSHH regulations and act where hazards are identified, report serious hazards to line manager immediately</li>\n<li>Undertake regular health and safety checks of buildings, grounds, fixtures and fittings, (including compliance with fire safety regulations) and equipment, in line with other schedules</li>\n<li>Monitor the work of and manage cleaning staff</li>\n<li>Oversee and make decisions on all planned maintenance</li>\n<li>Facilitate lettings and carry out associated tasks, in line with local agreements</li>\n<li>Handle small amounts of cash for the purchase of materials to carry out repairs</li>\n<li>Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school, raising any concerns following school protocol/procedures</li>\n<li>Any other duties appropriate to the post.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The post will involve working a split shift.
