Undertake site investigations and evidence gathering for complex breaches of planning control and to take the responsibility for and lead on strategic cases To utilise your delegated authority and sign off notices and closures.  To act as the lead in enforcement appeals including inquires and prosecution cases and support the enforcement team to draft notices and statements.  Prepare appeal statements and proofs of evidence and associated reports for To undertake any additional duties of a similar level of responsibility as may be required from time to time.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Who we’re looking for:</strong></p>\n<p>A self starter with a degree in a planning-related discipline or equivalent planning enforcement experience. You will have significant experience in planning enforcement and managing complex caseloads with an excellent understanding of planning law and national planning policies. You will have experience of managing staff and dealing with enforcement cases including legal proceedings. Strong IT skills, excellent report writing and communication abilities are a must. You should be an excellent communicator with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences and work well with other teams. Collaborative and personable, you are good at building positive working relationships and influencing at all levels of the organisation.  Previous employment with a Council would be an advantage.
