You should have experience working with vulnerable adults, strong knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation, and the ability to coordinate multi-agency support plans effectively.</p>\n<p><strong>Essential Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working with vulnerable people, particularly those facing homelessness, mental health issues, or substance dependency.</li>\n<li>Ability to manage and prioritise a complex caseload.</li>\n<li>Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team or multi-agency setting.</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of risk assessment and safeguarding practices.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and advocacy skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.</li>\n<li>Understanding of trauma-informed support and working with individuals with Multiple Compound Needs (MCN).</li>\n<li>Strong administrative, reporting, and data recording skills.</li>\n<li>Good IT proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of homelessness legislation (Housing Act 1996, Homelessness Reduction Act 2017, Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act 1983, etc.).</li>\n<li>Experience of trauma-informed working practices.</li>\n<li>Lived experience of homelessness or support needs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>For full requirements of the role, please see the attached person specification.</p>\n<p><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></p>\n<p>At Hastings Borough Council, we are committed to ending rough sleeping and providing meaningful support to those in need.
