Regeneration Officer (External Funding & Project Delivery)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced officer with economic and social regeneration background to join Hastings Borough Council. You will be working within a dynamic regeneration team at a time of major development activity within the town.

The purpose of the job is to support, coordinate and project deliver approved funding programmes as well as propose, write, and prepare external funding bids as opportunities arise. You will be supporting the Regeneration Team in the development and maintenance of relationships with various departments and partners, in the pursuit of public and private funding for initiatives supporting the delivery of the Council’s corporate priorities.

You will also research and analyse a variety of regional and national funding sources and strategic policies and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of major and emerging funding regimes initiatives. You will also assist with the project implementation of successful funding bids as and when required.

Knowledge and experience of economic regeneration activities and delivery of economic, social and capital programmes would be useful.
