St Stephen’s School and Children’s Centre is seeking dedicated and flexible Nursery Nurses to work across our federation in both the Nursery and Reception classes.
About the Role
As part of our committed Early Years team, you will play a vital role in supporting children’s learning and development, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) as numbers are increasing. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-quality, inclusive environment, ensuring that every child is given the best possible start to their education.
We are looking for practitioners who:
- Hold a Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in childcare and have relevant experience
- Are child-focused, passionate about high-quality early years provision indoor and outdoor
- Have experience and a passion in supporting children with SEND
- Show energy, enthusiasm and resilience in a dynamic and active setting
- Are proactive, reflective and open to feedback
- Can effectively communicate with parents, staff, the Children's Centre and external professionals
- Are able to maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development
- Have a strong level of spoken and written English
