About the team
The Strategic Partnerships Team leads the development and delivery of services and support for those facing multiple disadvantages, including domestic abuse, drug and alcohol use, mental health and homelessness. The team support and coordinate governance of the Hertfordshire Domestic Abuse Strategy.
About the role
The role will be managed by a Development Manager who oversees domestic abuse community services and quality of pathways into support services.
As part of this role, you can expect to be involved in the monitoring of the IDVA and Community Outreach services, who support those at high risk and standard/medium risk of harm respectively. You can also expect to be part of the team monitoring grassroots, 'by and for' organisations who work with specific underrepresented groups.
You will also work closely with other team members and be involved in the development, shaping and commissioning of a new 'joined up advocacy' service, bringing together multiple forms of VAWG and risk levels.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in shaping future VAWG services in Hertfordshire.
About you
We are looking for you to have strong communication and time management skills. Experience of working in the domestic abuse field and/or monitoring services is essential.
Be able to work proactively alone (when working from home / office) and collaboratively with the team. Able to travel to locations across Hertfordshire, with access to a car, to attend meetings and complete monitoring visits with service providers.
Able to evidence of using multiple sources of information to analyse and respond to need, with good attention to detail. Post holder must be to be competent with using Excel. They must be able to interrogate data, including financial data and report on data monthly and as when required.
In addition is would be desirable if you can maintain a calm and confident demeanor when faced with controversial issues, ensuring that all team members remain united and focused on the task at hand. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the ability to manage multiple and diverse projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to address urgent matters while also considering long-term sustainable solutions.
