It is a varied and busy role, and you will be responsible for providng professional advice and support in all areas of employment relations, such as sickness management, grievances, disciplinaries, and performance management escalating complex cases to the HR Business Partner or Head of HR.</p>\n<p>You will have the opportunity to work with the Learning and Development Business Partner and HR Business Partners in coaching and training line managers in performance management processes, including conducting effective appraisals, one to ones, absence management, and guidance on development plans, you will also support the Equality and Diversity Officer to create, promote and sustain inclusive environments and practices.</p>\n<p>We do need you to have mastery of the basics, so it’s essential you bring the following:<br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A thorough understanding of how to advise, guide and coach on absence management, performance management, disciplinary & grievance, organisational change programmes and recruitment and selection</li>\n<li>Evidence of continuous professional development to demonstrate that you manage the gaps in your experience</li>\n<li>Either CIPD Level 5, or the ability to show that you have an equivalent level of understanding and therefore qualified by experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p>You will need to have considerable recent knowledge and experience in, recruitment and selection, employment law and HR best practices, as well as the credibility to build trust for managers, and staff.
