Help shape and deliver the vision for Harborough District’s future
Harborough District is situated in rural south Leicestershire and includes a wealth of heritage and substantial prospective growth areas. Market Harborough was named in the Sunday Times (March 2024) as one of the top best 50 towns to live in the country and one of the top 10 in the East Midlands. The District has also received similar recognition.
You will need to be a team player with a ‘can – do’ approach; committed to meeting challenging targets and maintaining the quality of the environment across the District. In return, we will offer you plentiful and varied experience, dealing with some challenging, large scale and strategic planning applications and providing a critical role in the delivery of future growth.
We offer a range of excellent benefits, including flexible working hours, generous holidays, and discounted leisure facilities membership. The Council would be willing to consider applications from candidates seeking a part-time role.
For an informal discussion please email Mark Patterson, Strategic Growth Manager (m.patterson@harborough.gov.uk) or Adrian Eastwood, Head of Service Development Management, (a.eastwood@harborough.gov.uk). The closing date for receipt of completed applications is 12 noon on 31st March. Interviews for the post to be held w/c 28th April.
