Working across the District Councils of Wychavon and Malvern, your work will include:</p><ul>\n<li>Supporting work to take the Plan through examination and to adoption.</li>\n<li>Supporting Senior Officers in delivering our strategic sites and new settlements.</li>\n<li>Supporting parish and town councils to designate neighbourhood areas and bring neighbourhood plans to adoption.</li>\n<li>Responding to planning queries from the public and our development management team in the processing of planning applications.</li>\n<li>Supporting the monitoring of the delivery of development across Wychavon and Malvern.</li>\n</ul><p><strong><span>About you</span></strong></p><p>The successful candidate will have:</p><ul>\n<li>A planning related degree or equivalent experience</li>\n<li>Student membership of the RTPI and working towards full membership / or full RTPI membership</li>\n<li>Planning experience preferably within a District or Borough Council</li>\n<li>An ambition and enthusiasm in planning policy</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills</li>\n<li>An adaptable and flexible approach with the ability to work on a variety of tasks</li>\n</ul><p><em><span>The role requires travel across our districts.The successful candidate must therefore have access to a car and the ability to travel across various locations as appropriate to the demands of the role.</span></em><strong></strong></p><p><strong><span>What we can offer</span></strong></p><p>Our staff are at the heart of what we do, and as a result we are always looking to recruit, develop and retain the very best talent we can find.
