The Well One Partnership is looking for a proactive Community Connector with a background in community engagement and coordination. The post holder will have excellent communication skills and the ability to co-design activities with residents to increase physical activity, healthy eating and social connectivity, identifying local champions and maximising the use of community resources.
Well One is in its second phase and is a lottery funded project in Tower Hamlets.
The purpose of the role is as follows:
- Engage and motivate residents of all ages to regularly take part in Well One activities.
- To work with partners in Well One in a meaningful and committed way.
- To support the development of the Well One health partnership, developing strong working partnerships on the ground.
- To co-design activities with residents and partner organisations, making the most of available opportunities.
- To support the delivery of a community capacity building programme, enabling local residents and groups to play a greater role in improving community health and wellbeing.
- Measure the health and wellbeing impact of projects on residents.
- To support on the delivery of externally funded health projects.
- To support in measuring the success of health projects using performance management frameworks.
