The Exchequer Team are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual who would be responsible for providing a wide range of support throughout the Council.
Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, this post will support a fast paced, efficient and comprehensive team with processing cheques, bank statements and assisting with cash payments, and assisting with various reconciliations throughtout the year.
Applicants should have demonstrable skills and experience within a similar role and have some awareness of Local Governments. They will need a good understanding of IT and be able to pick up systems quickly, with the ability to work confidentially given the nature of the role.
