We have around 1,000 dedicated, skilled and enthusiastic staff who always put the needs of our students first and we are now looking for a Lecturer in Art and Design to join our cohort of dedicated staff.

About You
The Faculty of Creative Industries has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Lecturer in Creative Media. The role will involve tutoring and course management of a Level 1, 2, or 3 vocational programme as well as teaching across all programmes.
The successful candidate should have a degree (or equivalent) in a related area. You should also be familiar with the current UAL curriculum and we encourage applications from teachers with a broad range of disciplines both in practice and theory.
You will have sound organisational skills, your ability to work cooperatively and contribute positively and creatively to a team is also essential. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm and energy for the subject area. You will also be able to problem solve, work pro-actively and safely as well as meet deadlines. To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication, time management and team working skills.
You will also possess a recognised Level 4 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or be willing to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification upon appointment. Excellent communication, administration and interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team and contribute positively and creatively are also essential in this role.
