What You’ll Be Doing
The Hospital Social Work role will be based in an allocated hospital team, and you will form part of a large network of professionals in an integrated setting. You will be expected to manage your own caseload with excellent supervision to support you.
We are hiring 2 full time Social Workers as well as 2 Weekend Social Workers who work Friday to Sunday.

Camden guiding principle is a ‘home first’ strength based approach for all people being discharged from hospital, which reflects what matters most to people and their carers who we are supporting.
You will undertake assessments of risk, need and capacity and have the skills to respond appropriately to unexpected events and crisis. You will have the ability to recognise signs of harm, abuse and neglect and will know how to manage these issues.
You must have a thorough understanding of current legislation and how it applies to the work of the profession including understanding the prevailing needs, whilst promoting the best interests of people that draw on Adult Social Care, including carers, at all times.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.
All About You
You must have 2 years' post qualified experience and have completed your ASYE. It is essential that you have a BA, BSc, DIPSW or CQSW or MA in Social Work or equivalent qualification and that you are registered with Social Work England. You must be willing to undertake post qualifying courses when required.
The role requires a working knowledge of, and experience in social work in the hospitals including familiarity with the support options, interventions, and resources for vulnerable people. You will be enthusiastic, passionate, and committed to work and dedicated to improving the well-being of our residents and their carers. It is essential that you demonstrate the ability to take responsibility for managing your own workload to a high standard and delivering to set deadlines.
