We have an exciting opportunity available for Casual Library Assistants to join our Wokingham Borough Council Library Service and work in libraries across the borough.
You will work ad-hoc hours as and when cover is required for full time library staff at different locations within the borough - this will typically be to cover annual leave, sickness, and vacancies. You will be required to work as part of a team to maintain the efficient delivery of library services within the borough.

- Meeting, greeting, and serving library customers
- Reshelving returned library books and items
- Helping customers with using library computers
- Supporting residents with other Council services

- Experience of working with Microsoft-based software
- Able to work to a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent customer service skills
