About us
Camden is committed to making our borough a place where everyone can thrive. As a Neighbourhood Housing Support Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive a responsive and effective service, enabling estate-based teams to focus on complex issues.
The role
You will act as a point of contact for residents, ensuring their enquiries are acknowledged, recorded, and assigned appropriately. You will proactively manage incoming requests, ensuring urgent cases are escalated and preventing delays in service delivery. Your responsibilities will include supporting estate inspections, maintaining key records, drafting correspondence, and helping to resolve low-level tenancy and estate issues. You will also liaise with internal teams to address parking and access queries, minor ASB matters, and administrative tasks.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively. You will play a key role in improving processes and ensuring the smooth operation of neighbourhood services.
About you
We’re looking for someone proactive, empathetic, and highly organised, with excellent communication and administrative skills. You should be comfortable working with residents, internal teams, and external partners to ensure smooth service delivery. A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion is essential, as well as the ability to use digital systems and maintain accurate records.
