PPA Teacher
We are seeking an exceptional teacher who shares our belief in nurturing every child's independence, individuality and inquisitive mind. The role will require you to provide PPA cover across the school, including the resources bases.

Job Description
• Support the aims and ethos of the school, having high expectations of self and others
• Teach the class and ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting are carried out according to the curriculum
• Create a stimulating, nurturing classroom environment
• Regularly update and discuss progress of individuals/groups with SLT at half termly pupil progress meetings
• Liaise with colleagues including Teaching Assistants/SENDCo to deliver units of work in a collaborative way
• Communicate and cooperate with specialists from outside agencies
• Follow all school agreed policies and procedures
• Work with parents and attend consultation evenings
• Contribute to staff development activities, attend team and staff meetings
• Develop links with Governors, LA and neighbouring schools
• Act as a role model in terms of dress, punctuality and attendance
Key Dates
Start Date: 1 September 2025
Contract: To cover maternity until 31 July or on the return of the postholder, whichever is sooner
