Elleray Park School caters for pupils with Complex Learning Difficulties, including Autistic Spectrum Condition and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. The pupils are aged between 2 and 11 years old. The governors of this successful special school seek to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher, with the drive to contribute to the ongoing improvement and development of the school through this permanent teaching position. The school has provision for pupils both at the Wallasey and the Pensby site. Flexibility and enthusiasm for
working with a team at our two site provision is essential.

The successful candidate will :

- Be an outstanding practitioner and possess the drive to contribute to the school's strategic vision
- Make a significant contribution to the continuing success of the school
- Have the ability to inspire and lead their class team and work effectively with other colleagues to ensure that learning remains outstanding.
- Be committed to raising pupils' attainment and have the proven ability to effectively differentiate outcomes for a wide range of learners
- Be able to deliver highly innovative lessons using cross curricular themes to ensure that learning is embedded
- Be able to effectively manage behaviour
- Have a willingness and commitment to support children with learning difficulties
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for working with a team at either the Pensby or Wallasey site.
