Medway Adult Education is currently seeking sessional Learning Support Assistants to join our vibrant team. This Medway Council service provides a wide range of courses to adults and families in Medway. It plays a vital role in supporting the development of skills to enter, return or progress in work. Medway Adult Education also provides course to support residents to be creative, be healthy, reduce social isolation and learn new skills. The courses are delivered at several venues in the Medway Community during the week, evenings and weekends.
You will provide a person-centred approach to support adults with barriers such as learning difficulties and/or disabilities to learning to enable them to reach their full potential. You will work with tutors to support learners in activities including literacy, numeracy and digital skills You will also participate in team meetings and continuing professional development.
