Salary Grade MPS/UPS plus TLR 1A £9,782 
Contract This is a full-time, permanent contract

An enthusiastic, dynamic and inspirational Head of Humanities is required to join a thriving and successful curriculum area.

The successful candidate will share in our vision for Catholic Education as part of a successful and experienced Humanities Department, which is committed to raising academic standards for all students whilst supporting the spiritual and moral development of the whole person.

In order to support the successful recruitment for this post, we are open to considering an enhanced payment package. Any such enhancement would be linked to the candidate's previous successful experience, particularly in achieving ambitious outcomes at GCSE and A-Level in Humanities. Can be accountable for student progress and development within the subject area Is an excellent classroom practitioner 
Can effectively manage and deploy teaching/support staff, financial and physical resources within the department to support the designated subject portfolio 
Can lead a department and develop and enhance the teaching practice of others Work well with staff and students alike 
Are looking to join a community of schools that promotes the formation of young people into successful citizens 
Are interested in developing their practice and committed to their own professional development
