We are seeking a highly motivated individual to be part of the delivery of the Sefton Climate & Retrofit Action Project (SCRAP) who will help to develop, manage and monitor a coordinated approach to achieving the outputs required. This post will involve supporting the project manager (EEMS Communities Officer) in the delivery of the project. As well as liaising with the Climate Ready advisors.

Thanks to National Lottery players, Sefton Climate & Retrofit Action Programme (SCRAP) has received £866,547.58 over five years from The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest community funder in the UK.

This comes from the Climate Action Fund, a £100 million commitment over 10 years from The National Lottery Community Fund to support communities across the UK to take action on climate change and involve more people in climate action. This forms part of one of the funder’s four key missions in its 2030 strategy, ‘It starts with community’ - supporting communities to be environmentally sustainable.

Core duties will include collection and management of data, production of reports, provision of support and co-ordination of the many groups involved in the delivery of SCRAP. You will be expected to promote the programme through a wide variety of approaches and have a good level of knowledge about the regional and national energy approaches and funding regimes that relate to SCRAP objectives in order to support residents.

The individual in post will be expected to be able to manage their time effectively and be conscientious. Attention to detail, with a through and meticulous approach to record keeping is also required.

As the SCRAP develops, with inputs and direction from the various partners, the resultant work patterns may evolve. This post will be expected to adapt to those changes and reflect any evolution in the data capture and information sharing across the emerging network.
