An opportunity has arisen in the Housing Management team for a Tenancy Audit Officer. This role is patch based ensuring that Waverley has full and current details of tenants, households and properties.
The Officer will be effective in providing further insight into tenancy status, property conditions and tenants personal details and will work in partnership with the Housing Officers to effectively support the most vulnerable to manage their tenancies.
- Accountabilities:
Carry out home visit to council tenants to complete tenancy audit questionnaires that will include visual inspection of the property and identifying any support required for tenants or household member.
Where repairs are identified, it is expected that these will be reported in the correct manner and a clear record is made of this on the case.
You will liaise with the patch Housing Officer where any breaches of tenancy require further investigation.
Identify safeguarding issues that may arise, linking in with corporate teams including making referral to appropriate agencies providing inspirational behaviour, purpose and understanding of personal issues.
You will be part of a team responsible for conducting a programme of tenancy audits to keep in line with regulatory requirements.
This is a full time role, 37 hours per week.
