Bedford Drive Primary school is seeking to recruit an inspirational, dynamic and highly motivated teacher to fulfil the role of Key Stage 2 Class Teacher.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Career Teacher or a candidate who wishes to develop further expertise and experience as part of their career path. We are looking for someone who is ambitious and has the drive to make a significant impact within our school.
The successful candidate must be an enthusiastic practitioner and will need to provide our pupils with an outstanding education, as well as building positive relationships with the children, staff and community. You must be able to engage fully with the core values of our school, be a positive role model and lead by example. You must be passionate about achieving the very best outcomes for our children and ensure they are motivated to be the very best they can be.
We are seeking a candidate who has an organised and methodical approach to work, can demonstrate a passion for continual improvement and achievement, with an ability to inspire the confidence of pupils, parents and colleagues with their enthusiasm and commitment to the role.
In addition, you will:
Have had experience of teaching in Key stage 2
Have high expectations of pupils and be committed to the school's aim of achieving excellent outcomes for all learners
Have good understanding of developing and delivering a quality primary curriculum and learning experience
Have good classroom management skills
Have a flexible, fair and empathic approach and will be able to meet the changing needs of our children
Have strong communication skills with the ability to build effective and positive relationships with both pupils, parents and staff
Have a strong belief that every child is unique and can and should achieve their maximum potential

The interview process for shortlisted candidates will include an observation of your teaching.
Interviews and lesson observations will take place during the week beginning 5th May 2025.
