The desired candidate will be working in a busy, dynamic school environment alongside a Site & Facilities Manager and 3 other staff to assist with the upkeep of the grounds and security of the premises and its contents. Inititiave is key to this role, proactive school experience is desireable but not essential</p>\n<p><strong>Main duties and responsibilities will include:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>The security of the School buildings and grounds, acting as a keyholder of the building</li>\n<li>The maintenance and repair of fittings, furniture and non-electrical</li>\n<li>The maintenance and decoration of certain aspects of the School</li>\n<li>The cleaning, maintenance and development of external areas of the</li>\n<li>General porterage duties as</li>\n<li>The cleaning of certain areas within the</li>\n<li>Acting as cover for other site personnel for absences or holiday, so flexibility will be required</li>\n<li>Carrying out regular maintenance checks and Site Jobs</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The school will soon be undergoing extensive building works as part of a 3 phase expansion programme, so it is an exciting time to be part of a team which strive to improve facilities.</p>\n<p>Kelmscott School is a highly ambitious school in the heart of East London.
