Our Team:

Streetscene sits within Environment Services and is responsible for the management of the greenery, major route ways and highways in Halton. 
As a service provider we aim to deliver a quality and professional service to the residents, business and visitors of Halton. 

You will be based predominantly out of either Picow Farm Depot in Runcorn or Lower House Lane Depot in Widnes. 

Working Pattern: 37 hours per week. Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 16:00, Friday 08:00 – 15:30. 

The role also requires you to work 4 days contractual overtime per year which falls over a weekend. 

A uniform will be provided and must be worn at all times whilst in the workplace.

Your Contributions:
•    You will be expected to carry out manual work and the operation of plant and equipment under the instruction of the Streetscene Team leader. 
•    You will undertake a wide range of horticultural and cleansing duties on both public spaces and open space facilities. 
•    Constructional labouring including fencing, hard landscaping, paths, roads, water courses and drains. 
•    You will be responsible for driving the divisions vehicles as part of day to day duties which can include, utility vehicles, ride-on mowers, vans, tractors, diggers, mechanical sweepers or other specialist equipment. 

A Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.
