Fender Primary and Ganneys Meadow Schools share a site with both joint and independent facilities. As our Site Manager, your role will be split evenly between the two schools. Your duties will include security, routine repair work, compliance testing and recording, maintenance and some cleaning.
The ideal candidate will:
- Demonstrate a commitment to working with both Headteachers and Business Manager to ensure our schools are always the best they can be.
- Be hardworking and flexible with a can-do attitude
- Have the capacity to problem solve in a calm and professional manner and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Be able to identify and prioritise tasks
- Have a good standard of DIY skills in joinery, plumbing, painting and general maintenance
- Have an awareness of health and safety requirements
- Be a team player and have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Understand the importance of confidentiality and following safeguarding and other policies
