Woodside Primary School are seeking to employ a Supervisor to run a new after-school provision as part of our wraparound care (FTC to July 2026).
We are looking for a dedicated, creative, resilient and dynamic person with a strong inclusive ethos to run the club.
The club will be supported by an assistant. Duties include arranging activities for a small group of children, preparing snacks and drinks, supporting with homework and liaising with parents and staff.
The club will run from 3pm to 6pm in school.
Responsibilities will include
- Helping prepare and deliver quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment as per the timetable
- Providing comprehensive care for the children
- Setting up the play space including moving furniture and play equipment
- Providing refreshments and ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met
- Meet and greet the children on arrival
- Administering first aid, when necessary
- Consulting with children and involving them in planning activities
- Facilitating good communication with all team members, parents, children and school
- Undertaking appropriate and relevant training
- Keeping the work environment healthy, safe and secure
- Working within the framework of the school’s policies and procedures
