Team Leader, Public Rights of Way
We have an excellent opportunity for a Team Leader to join the Public Rights of Way Team, operating within our Green Infrastructure Service here at Wokingham Borough Council, on a full-time, permanent basis.
As the Team Leader for Public Rights of Way, you will provide support and management to a team of Specialist Officers and use your public rights of way experience to manage priorities and lead on the Council’s major Greenways projects.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholders across the organisation and be responsible for supporting the management and maintenance of existing PRoWs and the DMMO process.
The Team Leader will also work with senior management in multiple disciplines, to deliver PRoW consultations through the provision of specialist planning advice, the negotiation of associated developer contributions, and contribute to the continuing development of Council policy.
This is an incredible opportunity as a member of the Community, Heritage and Blue and Green Infrastructure within Environmental and Safety, to support the achievement of key priorities, making a real difference to the preservation and enhancement of Wokingham’s environment.
