The Role
The role will provide essential business administration support to ensure the successful delivery of the 12-month UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) programme in the Lancaster district, due to complete in March 2026. The role will support programme coordination and engagement activities with internal and external UKSPF project deliverers.
Duties include:
- Support the Partnerships Co-ordinator and Strategic Policy and Partnerships Manager in co-ordination activities to ensure the successful delivery of the councils UKSPF programme.
- Data analysis and monitoring.
- Recording, requesting, and checking the quarterly evidence of UKSPF project spend.
- Administrative support to ensure all UKSPF outputs and outcomes are evidenced and recorded.
- Engagement with all UKSPF funded projects and project owners for ongoing project support.
This post is temporary until 31st March 2026. The hours of work for this position are 37 per week, working Monday to Friday. The role is hybrid, with a mix of attendance onsite mainly in Lancaster or Morecambe and working from home.

The secondment of an employee from another Service can only take place with the agreement of the Manager of the Service the applicant is contracted to. When this role comes to an end, the successful internal applicant will return to their substantive role.

You will hold a Business Administration Qualification at level 2 (or equivalent) and ideally have experience of:
- Office administration work
- Grant applications and grant awarding
- Data information and analysis
- Engagement with multi-agency organisations, such as businesses and third or public sector organisations
