We are looking for Visitor Assistant to work across Rutland County Museum & Oakham Castle on Saturday’s, 9.30-1.30pm
Do you enjoy History? This role could be for you. You will meet & greet visitors & tourists, and ensure they have a high quality, welcoming and inclusive experience.
About you…
- Educated to GCSE level grades A-C in English and Maths or Equivalent
- High level of customer care
- Excellent Communication Skills, oral and written
- Able to work without direct supervision, sometimes as the only member of staff on the premises
About the role….
- undertake administrative and facility management duties; serve visitors; deliver activities; and provide a high standard of customer service
- assist in the delivery of Museum and Castle front of house and back-office provision.
- deal with enquiries, and requests for service, being knowledgeable about heritage matters, and refer when necessary
- undertake back-office duties, including unpacking deliveries, checking delivery notes, bills, records and raising queries
The Visitor Assistant interviews will be held Tuesday 10th December 2024.
