We are looking for a Technology Enabled Care (TEC) project lead to support the work of the Transformation Team for a 12 month period. This is an opportunity to be part of an exciting pilot, trialling how technology can be used to support people and informal carers to receive respite, flexibly, in their own homes.
About the role
Under the supervision of the Transformation Project Manager and working closely with an existing TEC Project Lead, you will provide advice and technical guidance around technology solutions for customers.
This is a project management role and will involve project planning, milestone development, reporting and evaluation of the TEC services as well as working with people who draw on care and support, their carers and liaison with TEC and care providers. The working style for this role is 'mobile' meaning mainly home-based working with working at other agreed venues, when required.
This is an interesting opportunity to get involved in the continually evolving world of TEC and will require a highly motivated and flexible individual with a passion for innovation and being at the forefront of service development. If that's you, please get in touch for more information.
This position is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
Valid driving licence and own transport, or be able to provide alternative, suitable method of travel is an essential condition for this role.
Work Style
At North Somerset Council, we offer a hybrid working environment based on four distinct work styles. Depending on the role and personal circumstances, you will fall into one of these categories. However, please note that during the induction period, it may be necessary to spend more time in the office to support your learning and development.
