This role is vital for the design and delivery of major regeneration projects and programmes across Wirral which will allow the Council to reach its ambitious placemaking agenda and create a well-designed, green, sustainable, waterfront community along the Left Bank of the River Mersey.</p>\n<p>The focus of this role is to lead the delivery of the Hind Street urban village and developments in Birkenhead Town Centre integrating into the developments set out in the wider area.</p>\n<p>The role will be fast-paced and require the ability to manage and respond to competing and changing priorities. We are looking for someone who has excellent relationship management and communication skills, particularly when dealing with multiple stakeholders and has a 'can do' attitude, bring innovative and fresh thinking ideas whilst challenging the status quo.</p>\n<p><strong>About the candidate:</strong></p>\n<p>We are looking for someone who is educated to degree level or has equivalent experience in a regeneration discipline such as development management, town planning, urban design, or chartered surveying.
