Car driver with use of own vehicle is essential.<br><br>We are seeking to employ Intermediate Care Support Workers (ICSW) who enjoy working with adults aged 18+. The aim of the service is to support vulnerable adults to be as independent for as long as possible, safely in their own homes. You must be flexible and able to use initiative when putting into practice care support/ rehabilitation programmes set up by professional staff/team leaders.<br><br>The successful candidate will need to demonstrate their ability to carry out short-term work with service users in the community, prevent hospital admission / facilitate timely hospital discharge.<br><br>Our office is Based at Nightingale House (adjacent to Whiston Hospital), although you will be working in the community on your shifts, our service will operate from 07.30am to 10pm, 365 days per year. Our ICSW will operate across St Helens Borough.<br><br>You will work on a 10 week Rolling shift rota which operates between 7.30am and 10pm, including weekends and bank holidays. The rota will involve a mix of both Early Shift (07.30 am to 3.30 pm) and Late Shift (2.00 pm to 10.00 pm).<br><br>We will provide you with the necessary training and support to enjoy and to succeed in the role.<br>One of our Intermediate Care Support Worker’s says – “I love my job.
