We care about the best outcomes for local people, through our public services.</strong></p><p>We are proud of our world-famous thriving city with its rich culture, as well as affordable housing, good schools, beautiful green spaces – there’s really something for everyone!</p><p>The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) have awarded further funding to Liverpool City Council as part of its Rough Sleeping Prevention and Recovery Grant (RSP&R) award for 2025/26<br>  <br> The Rough Sleeping Co-Ordinator post forms part of the Council’s approach to reducing homelessness and ending rough sleeping.  This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably motivated and skilled individual to join the Council and work as part a collaborative approach with a range of stakeholders to address homelessness and rough sleeping. </p><p>You will work with the Strategic Commissioning Manager for rough sleeping support services, to shape and monitor a range of initiatives aimed at reducing rough sleeping in  2025/26.</p><p><strong>The Role:</strong> </p><ul>\n<li>You, the Rough Sleeping Co-Ordinator will chair a range of multi-agency groups .r groups aimed at bringing key partners together to address rough sleeping.</li>\n<li>Within the role the Rough Sleeping Co-Ordinator will be an active part of the allocations nominations process for the Rough Sleeper Accommodation Programme (RSAP) accommodation and associated schemes within Liverpool.</li>\n<li>As the Rough Sleeping Co-Ordinator you will also have responsibility for the monitoring of performance of various activities and be the lead officer for organising and conduction Rough Sleeper counts, estimates and monthly data reports and reporting back to MHCLG.</li>\n<li>Within the role as the Rough Sleeping Co-Ordinator you will need to show a drive and commitment to ending rough sleeping,  as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, an understanding of the challenges of working in this environment and effective mechanisms to manage personal resilience and time management.
