We are seeking to appoint a committed and inspirational individual to provide Cover duties and Intervention Support to obtain the best outcomes for our pupils.

Rowan High School (annexe to Rowan Park School) supports young people aged 11 – 19 years, with a diagnosis of autism.  Pupils usually join us in Y7 from mainstream primary schools and in-year from local high schools.  Due to the School’s continued success and increase of pupils on roll, the Governors are seeking to appoint a:

Cover Supervisor and Intervention Support

We are looking for a person to work with and supervise individual/groups of children under the direction/instruction of senior staff to deliver cover lessons for Rowan High pupils.  This includes leading Literacy and Numeracy intervention groups, under the direction of English/Maths teaching staff, therefore a recognised qualification in this area is essential.

You will be required to produce lesson plans, delivery and assessment to support pupils in obtaining qualifications in these subject areas.

To enable access to learning for all pupils and assistance and support in classroom management and behaviour techniques.  Management of teaching assistants including deployment and performance management.
