Brighton & Hove City Council's statutory homelessness services have undergone a modernisation programme in response to changing legislative landscape and customer focus. This has created a number of vacancies in a new service which aims to emphasise excellent service provision. These 2 Homelessness Prevention Officer posts are offered as part of this service transformation.

About the role
After redesigning our Homelessness & Housing Options Service we are offering two roles for Homelessness Prevention Officers with relevant experience. These roles are part of our Homelessness Prevention & Relief Teams, providing a high level of case working expertise and discharging statutory duties to homeless applicants.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.

Team and service working arrangements are designed to support both employee work life balance and team collaboration. These would be part of your individual working arrangements alongside any personal preference agreed with your manager in advance of joining. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team and travel to and from your contractual location would be at your own expense.
