Waterside Academy have recently joined The People’s Learning Trust. As a school we aim to engender a sense of community and belonging. Offering new opportunities to learners who may have experienced previous difficulties, by responding in ways which take account of their varied life experiences and needs.
The Role
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Inclusion Support (HLTA) who will mainly assist with the teaching and learning of the pupils in the inclusion base. Applicants must possess a genuine enthusiasm for working with pupils who can display challenging behaviour. Experience of working with SEN pupils is desirable.
Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS)
