Halton Borough Council also provide a generous car user allowance and a flexible working week. You can receive up to 34 days annual leave per annum (Plus bank holidays) and access to HBC’s lease Car and Bike Schemes, and free parking throughout your places of wor<em>k.</em></p>\n<p><strong><em> </em></strong>The Mental Health social work team works with adults, who meet the criteria in line with the Care Act and require support in relation to their mental health.  We work closely with our Mental Health Trust colleagues to provide a responsive, holistic and recovery focussed response to adults with complex mental health needs.</p>\n<p><strong><em> </em></strong>We are a well-established and stable team with supportive management. The managers in the team are experienced AMHP’s who will offer support and guidance. Our team has a mixture of experienced practitioners all willing to support new members to the team. We are a friendly and welcoming team. We are looking for an experienced social worker who has experience working in mental health in a community setting. AMHP’s will also attract an additional £2000 per annum retainer allowance.</p>\n<p> You must be a qualified social worker registered with Social Work England, and a qualified Approved Mental Health Professional in order to perform the statutory duties of an AMHP for Halton Borough Council. As an Approved Mental Health Professional we also offer an additional £2,000 per year allowance and Essential Car user. The day time AMHP service includes the working hours between 9am- 5pm Monday- Friday.
