We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic housing professional to fill an exciting Housing Officer role within our Tenancy Services Team.
The Tenancy Team are responsible for the tenancy management of over 5,100 properties across the Winchester district. Working as a Tenancy Housing Officer you will be responsible for providing tenancy services for a defined geographical area of approximately 1250 general needs and sheltered tenancies. In this role you will provide comprehensive housing and tenancy management services including completing new tenant and nine-month visits, processing tenancy changes such as successions, left in occupation and mutual exchanges. You will be managing complex tenancy cases, dealing with breaches of tenancy conditions, overseeing cases of nuisance and anti-social behaviour including preparing and serving legal paperwork, representing the Council at Court and making appropriate referrals to tenancy support and sustainment when required.
This is a great opportunity to work as part of a busy team of Housing Officers ensuring all tenancy management functions are undertaken to a high standard, within the required timescales and in accordance with agreed targets.
