If you are passionate and committed to supporting children and families to access the right support at the right time and are interested in this area, this is role for you. <br><br> Early Help are a consent base Service and we use the Continuum of need to aid responding to referrals. <br><br><b>About the role</b><br><br>As a CIAO you will support families and children by providing information on the offer of services available universally and within Early Help in Hertfordshire. The signposting of information will support families in need to prevent an escalation of concern.<br><br>Your work will be underpinned by the principle of improving outcomes for children, young people and their families through communicating with parents and agencies to best understand a child and family's needs and to contribute towards identifying support services and signposting to these<br><br><b>About you</b><br><br> <strong>Essential</strong>:<ul>\n<li> Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and demonstrate the ability to build rapport with families and professionals during telephone calls. </li>\n<li> Excellent keyboard skills and be computer literate. </li>\n<li> Professional curiosity and excellent organisational skills to ensure work is completed within tight timescales. </li>\n<li> A team player, but also demonstrate the ability to work autonomously. </li>\n<li> Previous experience in working with Children and Families would be beneficial </li>\n</ul><strong>Desirable</strong>:<ul><li> Previous experience in working with Children and Families would be beneficial </li></ul>We welcome applications from candidates who currently reside in the UK with established proof of right to work documentation. About the team

We are currently recruiting a Children's Information and Advice Officers to work within the Gateway Early Help Service. If you are passionate and committed to supporting children and families to access the right support at the right time and are interested in this area, this is role for you.
