Social Worker - CTPLD (Adult Social Care)

We are looking for a passionate Social Worker dedicated to supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism. As a qualified social worker with current Social Work England registration, you will bring your drive and commitment to our supportive team. About the team…

Our Community Team for People with a Learning Disability and Autism is committed to improving outcomes for the people we support.  We adopt a person-centred approach in all our work, ensuring that the needs and preferences of each individual are met. We are looking for someone who shares our commitment and possesses strong organisational skills, creativity and effective communication abilities when working with adults with learning disabilities and autism. 

The CTPLD and Autism team offers a great work environment characterised by a shared ethos, mutual support and a positive team dynamic. We collaborate with colleagues across the service to draw on  specialist knowledge and expertise. Located in the South East, Bracknell Forest is a welcoming unitary authority in Berkshire, just 28 miles west of London, close to Reading and conveniently positioned between the M3 and M4. 

Key responsibilities...

You will hold a case load of people with learning disabilities and autism and will be required to fulfil statutory duties on behalf of the service. The post involves assessment, support planning and review, direct work with people who have a learning disability and or autism as well as general case management duties.

You will also be provided with a laptop and a mobile phone to enable remote working.
