The Role
This post offers an exciting opportunity to enter the leisure industry. In your role you will be responsible, as part of a team, for maintaining the smooth running of the modern Salt Ayre Leisure Centre.
Supervising the swimming pool and flume, ensuring a high standard of building cleanliness by undertaking regular cleaning duties and setting up equipment for a wide range of sporting activities in a range of different rooms will be some of your day-to-day duties.
You will be the face of the Leisure Centre and it is a great opportunity to be part of an enthusiastic, passionate and vibrant team.
You will be confident and outgoing as your duties will include organising school holiday events and children’s birthday parties.
This post is permanent. The hours for this position are 37 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days on a shift rota basis. Your shifts will be based around the centre opening times; 6:00am to 11:00pm Mon to Fri and 8.00am-8.00pm at weekends. This post is based at Salt Ayre Leisure Centre.
Candidates must have the ability to pass enhanced clearance with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
A swimming ability test will be included as part of the interview process, and more information about what is expected in the Swimming Ability test can be found on the Job Description.
Please note that applicants under 18 should also be in part-time education.
