We have a 'Good' grading from Ofsted with 'Outstanding' for leadership and management .</p><p>We are a well established early years setting which has newly moved into our new site within the Tarner Family Hub on Ivory Place. We are looking for a Deputy Room  Leader to be part of an existing team to help set up a brand new setting.  We are looking for a person who can demonstrate high quality practice and can lead a team of staff to maintain high standards of early teaching and learning through play for children from age 2 years to 5years, ensuring that activities are developmentally appropriate for varying needs and  which allow children from a range of social, economic and cultural backgrounds to develop and grow. Sound knowledge of  the EYFS and Supporting attachment as you will be expected to be a key person as well as supporting others to build relationships with the children and families.  We desire the applicant to have an indepth understanding of safeguarding procedures, Safeguarding the children is paramount to the role and there could be times where you shall be the designated safeguarding lead for short periods of time as well as your day to day duty of care and commitment to safeguarding children while not being designated lead.  Bright Start Nursery is passionate about inclusion and provide experiences and opportunities to all children in our setting. We practice a non-discriminatory approach and require our staff to demonstrate inclusion in all areas of their work, celebrating diversity. We work closely with outside agencies such as Emas and those within the Family Hub to ensure we fully support children and their families, the role will involve working closely with our SENDCO and to be part of education plans for children in need of additional support. </p><p>We have an 'in the moment' approach to play and learning and we promote a holistic approach where by practitioners  provide experiences that are creative, encouraging children’s inquisitive nature to explore and learn, creating a meaningful and rich learning environment which is stimulating and well resourced encourage children’s curiosity and fascination of the world around them.</p><p>We currently operate within the Tanner Hub with one group room for children from 2 years to five years of age and shall have free flow access to our own roof top outside area. Within the Family hub there are groups and services which we shall be able to work alongside to support our families as well as access areas such as the sensory room and Toy Library.  </p><p>We are proud of our staff who are qualified or working towards a qualification, who share our passion for delivering a high standard of care to the children and provide exciting opportunities for the children to grow, learn and develop into confident young people.
