We have opportunities available across multiple Hertfordshire locations, including: EN8, HP4, SG13, WD6, SG5, SG7, AL3, SG1, SG2, and WD19.

- Substance misuse
- Relationship breakdowns
- Gang involvement
- Isolation and homelessness
What You'll Do
As a Youth Support Worker, you'll provide essential support to young people living in temporary housing. You will:
- Support young people in developing life skills and preparing for independent living.
- Help them access education, employment, or training opportunities.
- Assist with finding and securing long-term housing.
- Provide emotional support and manage challenging behaviour.
- Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and occasional sleep-ins.
We're seeking compassionate individuals who can build strong, supportive relationships with young people.
- Experience: Working with young people aged 16-25 or personal insight into their challenges.
- Skills: Ability to stay calm under pressure, de-escalate conflicts, and manage challenging behaviour.
- Knowledge: Awareness of safeguarding practices and trauma-informed care is desirable.
