Making A Difference as A Library Assistant in Library Services
This is an opportunity to join the Schools Library Service team providing a quality, efficient and reliable service to pupils and teaching staff across the borough and beyond.
The role includes responding to enquiries from schools via email and phone, issuing, discharging and shelving books and other items and selecting resources that support the curriculum and that promote reading for pleasure.
It is essential that the successful applicant holds a full driving licence as the role requires driving Council vehicles to collect and deliver items to schools both in St Helens and across the region.
The role is subject to schools buying into the service each academic year.
