R J Mitchell Primary School is a 1 form entry primary school with two additional 14 place SEN units and 3 nurture group provisions. The school has historical links to RAF Hornchurch and was named after the engineer who designed the iconic Spitfire aeroplane. The school is also part of the Aspire Learning Federation and as a result works in close partnership with its ‘sister’ school Elm Park Primary.
